Overview
The idea of South Delhi Homoeopathic Association (SDHA) was originated by late Dr. V.P. Gupta who remain the founder president of the association till death. Initially he counted the a meeting of nearly 15-20 homoeopathic doctors in Gurudwara, GK 2 near Savitri Cinema in April 1989 which was attended by Dr. T.R. Soni, Dr. S.K. Dey, Dr. S.K. Roy, Dr. shiv Rattan Aggarwal & Dr. Satya Veer Sharma among others.
The main moto of the association was to impart latest knowledge to the homoeopathic fraternity by conducting monthly CMEs. Apart from this, the mission was to help the poor, needy and our senior citizens for medical help.
The principal of Don Bosco School Mr. Alok Nanda was kind enough to provide one room for conducting the CMEs.
Thereafter a two days seminar was conducted which was named as K.M.L. (Kent memorial Lectures) at PHD House. Here I would like to mention that Dr. V.P. Gupta, Dr. Harbans Lal Bhatia, Dr. S.K. Mehta and Dr. V.N. Ghai collected funds to improve the financial condition of the association. Besides that a monthly chronicle was started but that has to be stopped because of financial problems. Now the CMEs & KML are being conducted without any break till date.
Financial accounts are maintained and every year and audit is conducted by a chartered accountant.
The association is grateful to those who have contributed the enhancement and recognition like pharma companies, doctors, speakers and delegates. In addition, association is also grateful to the dedicated team who is working under the skillful guidance of Dr. S.K. Mehta ji as president.
