  • After completing the academic graduation from the University of Delhi, in 1962, starting learning Homoeopathy under the guidance of many senior Homoeopaths of Delhi. Later on when the Syllabus of DHS Examinations were announced by the Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Delhi started the classes were organized by the group of  dedicated Homoeopaths, namely, Dr. Diwan Harish Chand, Dr. Jugal Kishore, Dr.V. D. Kashyap, Dr. S. N. Kashyap, Dr. Balraj K. Bhatnagar, Dr. P.C. Mehta, Dr. P. N. Chopra, Dr. Tilak Raj Chaddha,  Dr. Krishan Khera, Dr. P. Sharma, Dr. S. S. Ramchandran, Dr. Tej Bhan Dev, and others at Rohtak Road, New Delhi. Later on, when the building of Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College, became operational, after its inauguration by Dr. Sushila Nayar, the then Union Minister of Health, these classes got shifted to NHMC, at Defence Colony, with Dr. K. N. Mathur as the Principal, under the management of under Dr. Yudhvir Singh Homoeopathic Charitable Trust. Some of the batchmates included personalities like Dr. H. L. Chitkara, & Dr. B. R. Sur.

    Entered the profession after qualifying DHS Examination in July 1967, joined the Delhi Homoeopathic Medical Association, and became its life member. Has held almost all responsible positions from the Executive Committee Member, to the President. Has also been actively associated with the official organ of the D.H.M.A, titled THE HAHNEMANNIAN HOMOEOPATHIC SANDESH, with Dr. Phool Chand Jain as its Managing Editor. He wrote many articles in the said Journal, as well as presented many papers in the Homoeopathic Association. Passed the Certificate Course on Post Graduate in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Techniques, from the All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Bombay in the year 1980.

     On behalf of Delhi Homoeopathic Medical Association, as well as Delhi Homoeopathic Chemists Association, has played proactive role in various regulatory measures, like the Drugs & Cosmetics Rules, Central Council of Homoeopathy Bill, Delhi Intoxicating Spirituous Preparations Rules, etc.

    It was sometimes in the year 2000, when Dr. V. P. Gupta had come to the clinic, and was asked to become the Life Member of the SDHA. It was a good opportunity to have interaction with more colleagues and keeping a low profile. However, with sudden demise of Dr. V. P. Gupta in July, 2005, had to take up the responsibility of Organizing various activities of the Association, as pressed by Dr. Harbans Lal Bhatia Ji, Dr. S. K. Mehta Ji, and Dr. Satyavir Sharma Ji,  

    It is a matter of pleasure that with the continued guidance of the seniors, and active participation of youngsters, the Association has worked as a family, and has taken its activities to new heights, and its Annual 2 day National Homoeopathic Conference, namely KENT MEMORIAL LECTURES, have now acquired a Brand Image, to the extent that a  number of good speakers are not only associated with it, but the Association is also grateful to them for their availability even at a short notice.
